Nursery: Drama and Art Workshop
Duration: 45 minute drama session, followed by a short break and a 30 minute art activity (the duration of this activity may vary depending on children).

Based on the idea of Teddy Bear's Picnics this workshop will create a drama world where the children become a part of the action as a story unfolds. The session aims to develop children's movement and speaking and listening skills whilst allowing their imaginations to flow in a creative and playful atmosphere. The drama will be complemented with a colourful art activity.

Sometimes we all get scared. This workshop will look at some of the reasons we can be scared in life (and how to avoid them) through the story of three loveable characters. Children will become an active part of the story through movement, still image and imaginative play. The drama will be complemented with a collage activity where the children can enjoy cut 'n' stick fun!

Years 1 & 2: Drama and Art Workshop
Duration: 1hr drama session followed by a short break and a 45 minute (minimum) art activity.

Under the watchful eye of the famous explorer William Dartmoor the children will be taken on a quest full of adventure and fun. Using movement, sound and a lot of imagination children will have to work together to reach their final destination. This workshop will build skills in speaking and listening, co-operation and creativity. The drama will be followed with a complementary art activity to bring the workshop to a big finish!
